The Bittersweet Highschool romance
A project I worked on for university. This is a short visual novel game in which I primarily focused on creating music for the first time. The game is about you, the protagonist, who one day becomes friends with 2 girls at school. Over the course of the next few days you begin to become really close to them, will you be successful and find love? Do you want to have a platonic friendship? Or will you get rejected?
The game contains multiple choices that allow the player to interact with the girls, depending on how the player interacts with them, they gain affinity altering the ending they get with the girls, but who knows maybe they aren't looking for a relationship?
Art characters were made using AI (not something I wanted to do, but couldn't find anyone to work with and as a student couldn't afford to pay people). Backgrounds were sourced from free-to-use websites. My first project that was made in Ren'py.
